Our IT day was held on 2^nd March 2012. Mr.P.T. Pitigala , Provincial Project Manager of Western Province, participated as the Chief Guest. Mr. P.N.Tites, the Director of Education zone Minuwangoda and Mr.Vajira Ranaraja, the Director of education division also participated. All the schools of the Minuwangoda education zone were invited. A career guidence programme , Drama and a Quiz Competition had been organized. The students could enhance their IT knowledge through these events.

Sri Gnanodaya was very lucky to have a stall in the INFOTEL 2011 exhibition at BMICH. Only 20 schools of the country were selected for this and minister of education Mr. Bandula Gunawardhana visited our stall.

1st Place in Zonal Software Competition

Nuwan Chamara Abewardhana won the first place in the "Visual Basic Programming" category of the Zonal Software Competition held on 8^th November 2011. He is the president of ICT Club in our school and also active member in our Hardware team and e_village training programmes.
